It may seem like an impossible and daunting task to overcome pain. It may seem like it is truly impossible… and it is not. That I can guarantee you. I had once thought that and I was wrong.
You have the strength to overcome your pain. You have the strength not because it is easy, but because it is not easy and because it is something you may have believed was impossible.
Every forward step in overcoming and getting rid of your pain needs to be celebrated because you had the strength to take that step forward. If you pain last month was a continual 8-9/10 and this month it is a 6-8/10… then that is progress.
Celebrate your wins and your strength. You can do this and you can find the support you need to get you the rest of the way when you may not be feeling so strong. The support may come in the form of a smile from a stranger, a hug from a loved one or the clinical assistance of a professional. Every ounce of support you receive is for you and you deserve every bit.
HUGS!!!
